Shoulder Press (Overhead Press)

During the shoulder press, the deltoid muscle is the primary mover. All three parts work together to lift the arm above the head. The movement is supported by the trapezius and triceps, while the abdominal and back muscles provide necessary stability. The shoulder press, one of the Big-5 exercises, can be performed at different angles to target specific areas of the shoulder muscles.

At the EISENHORN strenght station S, the exercise can be performed standing (e.g., behind the head with grip tape or infront of the head with a tight grip) or seated (e.g., in front of the head, behind the head, or even with raised feet). On the EISENHORN DS, the shoulder press can also be done in in front of the head, and it can be performed alternating on the horn for variation.
