functional training
A training method that teaches movements directly relevant to everyday life or sports. Instead of isolating individual muscles, several muscle groups are activated simultaneously, often in complex movement patterns such as lifting, carrying, pushing, or jumping. Functional training improves joint stability, posture, muscle coordination, and power transmission.
It is suitable both as a supplement to classical strength training and as a standalone training method.
