Biceps
The biceps (Musculus biceps brachii) symbolize visible arm muscles, but their function goes far beyond purely aesthetic purposes. They are responsible for bending the elbow and rotating the forearm, and are involved in every pulling movement. The biceps can be trained very precisely with classic techniques, such as standing curls or using the grab bar and cable pulley. Those who want to train the muscle in isolation should rely on controlled repetitions at moderate strain. In conjunction with the forearm muscles, the biceps develop strength, endurance, and grip strength in the arms and back.
By the way, the biceps are also trained during basic exercises (Big 5) such as pull-ups, pull to chest, or rowing.
