Bench Press

The bench press is considered a classic exercise for the chest muscles and is part of the so-called Big 5, which form the foundation of the MIKE5 training concept . The primary muscle working here is the pectoralis major, supported by the triceps and the deltoid muscle.

On the EISENHORN strength station, the bench press can be performed in different variations: the classic bench press, the standing chest press, the negative bench press with raised legs , or the bench press in bridge position. With the cable pulley, the classic bench press can be performed either with the grab bar or directly on the horn. Variations such as alternating bench press, standing chest presss, or explosive chest presses on the horn are also possible.
