Testosterone

Testosterone is produced primarily in the testicles in men and in small amounts in the ovaries in women. It is responsible, among other things, for higher muscle mass and stronger beard growth in men, but also plays an important role in the female body. Testosterone supports muscle growth, regeneration, bone density, energy levels, and overall performance. In both men and women, it contributes to health in various ways. Regular strength training, a balanced diet with healthy fats, adequate rest, and sufficient sleep can positively influence testosterone levels.
