Neck muscles

The term neck muscles refers to several muscles in the upper back and neck region, including primarily the trapezius. These muscles perform the important function of holding the head upright and allowing its movements forward, backward, and to the sides. At the same time, they stabilize the shoulder blades and thus support nearly every arm movement. A strong neck musculature is not only crucial for posture but also helps protect against tension and overuse in daily life.
