Burpees
Burpees are a high-intensity full-body exercise that combines strength, endurance, and coordination. They consist of a sequence of squats, push-ups, and jumps – often performed one after the other without a break.
Burpees engage large muscle groups such as the leg muscles, chest muscles, core muscles, and shoulder muscles, while at the same time strongly challenging the cardiovascular system. They are an integral part of many HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) and interval training cardio workouts, and are particularly suitable for burning a large number of calories in a short amount of time.
