Mounting the sliding bush on the horn axle

Where people work, mistakes sometimes happen. We place high demands on the quality of our products. This also includes taking responsibility for any mistakes.

This has occurred in the new generation of EISENHORN 6 devices that have been delivered. The plain bearing in the horn axle has not been fitted. We formally apologize for this error. Fortunately, the solution to this problem is quite simple, as the missing plain bearing can be retrofitted. And fortunately it only affects a few devices.

Is your device affected?

If your EISENHORN does not run smoothly and quietly during training and makes noises (such as an unpleasant squeaking or creaking), please proceed as follows:

  • Open the following link and add a plain bearing to the shopping cart (1 piece): https: //
  • Enter 100025-100% in the COUPON field.

The sliding bushing will then be sent to you free of charge. Until the sliding bushing arrives, you can continue to use your EISENHORN without hesitation.

Retrofitting the plain bearing

Make sure that you only insert the stop bolt loosely. The side screws (M6) must not be tightened (see at 3 min. 22 sec.).

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions about retrofitting, please do not hesitate to contact us.

By the way, did you know…

… that we produce and package our products in sheltered workplaces with the help of disadvantaged people? We have been doing this for many years. As a customer, you are making a small social contribution to our society. After many years of experience with this type of production, we can say that we have achieved a very high standard of quality for this very reason. People work here who put their heart and soul into their work and are characterized by a high level of identification with the products.
