Explosive chest press on the horn alternating
Preparation
Fix the slides at hip height.
Starting position
Stand in a stable standing position. Grasp a horn with each hand so that the upper body is slightly tilted forward. The back remains straight, the abdomen is tense and the gaze is directed towards the floor. In the starting position, start stretching your chest.
Execution
Now press one hand down until the arm is fully extended. As you return to the starting position, lower the other hand down at the same time and repeat the movement alternately. This exercise can also be performed explosively. Make sure you stabilize your torso so that your upper body remains as still as possible.
Hint
Stand bent forward as much as possible and keep your torso stable. Stay in a standing position and consciously control the movement with your chest muscles.
Variants
The exercise can also be performed in a controlled manner and without explosive movement by performing each stroke individually. One hand is brought down and returned to the starting position before the movement is repeated with the other side.
