Preparation

Fix the slides at hip height so that the tips of the horns are approximately in the middle of the thighs. Turn both slides slightly inwards so that the pull goes straight onto the piston due to the rocking movement.

Starting position

Stand in a stable standing position. Grasp a horn with each hand and assume a stretched position. The back remains straight, the abdomen is tense and the gaze is directed straight ahead.

Execution

Now shift your weight from one leg to the other and lift the unloaded leg slightly. Rock back and forth from one leg to the other with outstretched arms. Always keep your arms stretched.

Hint

Imagine you are running a route with two heavy buckets full of sand.

Variants

The exercise can also be performed statically for the time being, i.e. without the rocking. This allows you to get used to the load.
