Calf raise standing eccentric

Preparation

Fix the carriage so that the handle bar is at the height of the thighs. Place a stable elevation (e.g. board or thick book) on the floor.

Starting position

Stand in front of the handle bar with closed leg position. Stand with the balls of the feet on the pad and go into the stretch of the calf.

Execution

Grasp the handle bar in an underhand grip, push up from the calves with both legs with arms extended. Then slowly move back again, alternately bending one leg.

Hint

The exercise has the focus on the eccentric movement. That's why both legs are used when pressing up to push the resistance up well. When coming down, only one leg is used to provide a stronger muscle stimulus.
