Upright rowing with wide grip

Preparation

Fix the slide in the lowest area of the column. Attach the grip tape and pull the handle bar through both grip loops.

Starting position

Stand with your legs hip-width apart and your upper body upright and stable, approximately in the middle of the horn. Grip the bar with a shoulder-width overhand grip and build up full body tension.

Execution

Pull the handlebar close to your body, over your elbows, up to collarbone height. At the end point, the upper arms are parallel to the floor.

Hint

Avoid swinging with the lower and upper body and ensure a stable, straight neck position (avoid "vulture neck"!)
