LYING LEG RAISES

Preparation

Lock the carriage in the lowermost position.

Starting Position

Lie on the floor with body extending outward from the EISENHORN, grasp the bar with bent arms. The lower back touches the floor. The head is resting on the floor, without any tension in the neck. Extend the legs upwards.

Execution

Lower the legs slowly until they are as close to the floor as possible while maintaining the extended position. Hold briefly in the lowest position and then lift again. Keep legs extended throughout the exercise.

Warning

Pay attention to the lower back, which should always lie flat on the floor and not in a hollow-back position. Do not build up momentum.
