The EISENHORN can be mounted on any wall with only 5 screws with 6mm diameter. Also on dry and timber constructions. This is made possible by the long and rigid profile, which distributes the load over the entire wall height.
Does it hold on my wall?
You can train with EISENHORN regardless of body weight and it can mounted on any wall. The device has been tested in accordance with the applicable European directives and standards. During the test, the device was loaded up to a weight of 400kg. This test was carried out on various common wall structures (concrete, brick, lightweight construction, aerated concrete). On the type plate of the EISENHORN nevertheless a maximum body weight of 100kg is declared. This because the safety factors corresponding to the applicable European directives and standards must be included.
Can you mount it yourself?
Yes! The screws and dowels included in the delivery can be used in 95% of cases (concrete, brick, wooden or drywall). If you have a special wall material which is not described in the mounting instruction then just contact us, we are happy to advise you. Our installation specialists always find a solution! If you prefer not to do the montage yourself, we recommend that you hire a craftsman from your area.
Does something special have to be considered?
Yes, when mounting on a concrete wall. Concrete is a closed volume. Here it is important that the dust in the borehole is completely removed before the dowel is used. It is not enough to clean with the vacuum cleaner. The hole must be blown out. If you have no compressed air or handpump, you can do this with a drinking straw. Why is this so important? If there is residual dust in the hole, there is not enough space for the dowel and screw. The result: the torque when screwing in the screw increases sharply. This can lead to stalling of the screw head.
