Stagnation
Stagnation is similar to a training plateau but generally refers to a longer-term lack of progress in athletic development or performance. While a plateau is often just a temporary phase in the training process, stagnation can persist and have various causes: inadequate adaptation of training methods, insufficient nutrition, overtraining, or lack of motivation. Strategies such as progressively increasing the load, targeted recovery phases, and integrating new training methods can help overcome stagnation.
