Shoulder muscles

The shoulder is one of the most mobile but also most vulnerable structures in the body. The deltoid muscle is the main muscle responsible for lifting and moving the arm in all directions. It consists of three parts: anterior, middle, and posterior. Targeted training can strengthen both its function and appearance. Exercises such as the shoulder press or shoulder rotators on cable machine activate the muscle to varying degrees. Since the shoulders are involved in almost all upper-body movements, it is recommended to train them in moderation to avoid overtraining.
