Deadlifts

The deadlift (also called deadlifts) not only trains the lower back muscles, but almost the entire posterior chain – from the calf muscle through the hamstrings up to the trapezius. At the same time, the abdominal muscles and core muscles work hard to stabilize the spine. The deadlift is a prime example of functional strength training and is one of the reasons it belongs to the so-called Big 5, which forms the basis of the MIKE5 training program.

On the Strength Station, the deadlift can be performed in various ways. Classical deadlifts, romanian deadlifts, sumo deadlifts with barbell, sumo deadlift with the grip tape, or even one-legged deadlift – all variants are possible. The DS model also offers the possibility to perform deadlifts with handle on the horn or romanian deadlifts with handle on the horn.
