Endurance training
Endurance training improves the ability to sustain strength performance over a long period of time without the muscles tiring prematurely. Training is performed with light to moderate weights (about 40–60% of the 1RM) and a high number of repetitions (15–30 or more).
Typical forms include circuit training, interval training, and long sets of basic exercises. This type of training is particularly relevant for sports involving repeated force applications, for rehabilitation, and for everyday activities.
