The story

It all began in the year 1987.
At the age of twelve, Mike – now the founder of EISENHORN AG and then a young ski racer – realised that he needed to build up more strength and muscle mass. So he took matters into his own hands: he built his first training device out of wooden boards and steel pipes and mounted it on the wall of his bedroom. From then on, he could train whenever he wanted.
1987 - 2010
Mike is a perfectionist – and never completely satisfied with his first device. So he keeps tinkering: over more than 20 years, he develops countless new models, drawing, testing and discarding ideas. His motivation remains the same – the desire to create the perfect training device for himself. During this time, he completes his training as a mechanical engineer and, in 2006, founds his own company for product design, engineering and prototype construction.

Winter 2010
When Mike's second son grows up and, like his father before him, enthusiastically takes up ski racing, history repeats itself almost 30 years later. This parallel motivates Mike to develop his training device into a marketable product.
Mike records the most important features for him in his specifications. At this point, however, no one can imagine how these requirements are to be implemented.

2010 - 2014
In just four years, Mike develops seven more prototypes. He perfects his concept over thousands of hours, working closely with professional athletes, sports physicians and scientists. Thanks to his intuition and pursuit of perfection, he creates a product that is second to none.
