A set is a series of consecutive repetitions performed without a break. Example: Three sets of ten repetitions – the so-called 3x10 rule – are a classic for muscle building. At the EISENHORN strenght station, sets can be varied by adjusting the length of rest periods to control the training stimulus. The pauses between sets are just as important as the exercise itself, as they determine whether the focus is more on strength, endurance, or technique.

Our MIKE5 training program achieves variation through regular changes in exercises. By varying the number of sets, intensity, and rest periods, new training stimuli are constantly created. This helps prevent training plateaus and stagnation.
