Fat burning
Fat burning describes the process in which stored body fats are converted into energy. It occurs both at rest and during physical activity, with the amount of fat burned depending on the energy requirement, the intensity of the training, and the diet. Longer, moderate cardio sessions promote fat burning, while high-intensity sessions enhance the afterburn effect (EPOC).
