Muscle strain, muscle fiber tear, and muscle rupture
A muscle strain, muscle fiber tear, or muscle rupture involves different degrees of muscle injury. A muscle strain is the mildest form and occurs due to overstretching, often when lacking a warm-up or sudden exertion. A muscle fiber tear means that individual fibers are torn, while a muscle rupture affects a larger part or even the entire muscle.
Such injuries can occur during strength training, cardio exercises, or sports with quick changes of direction. Good technique, adequate warm-up, appropriate intensity and targeted strength training to stabilize the involved muscles act preventively. The recovery can, depending on severity, last from a few days to several months.
With the MIKE5 training concept, you focus on basic exercises. Through this full-body training, you strengthen your entire body and reduce the risk of muscle injuries.
