The protection of your personal data is our top priority. The entity responsible for processing your data in accordance with data protection laws, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is:
General Note
Pursuant to Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection provisions (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to privacy and to protection against the misuse of their personal data. The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations as well as this Privacy Policy.
In cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as best as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification.
Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may involve security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to completely protect data from access by third parties.
By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of data as described below. This website can generally be visited without registration. In doing so, data such as the pages accessed or the names of the files retrieved, along with the date and time, are stored on the server for statistical purposes without this data being directly linked to you personally. Personal data, in particular your name, address, or email address, is collected on a voluntary basis whenever possible. Data will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent.
Processing of Personal Data
Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. A data subject is a person whose personal data is being processed. Processing encompasses any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and methods used, in particular the retention, disclosure, collection, erasure, storage, modification, destruction, and use of personal data.
We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Furthermore, to the extent that the EU GDPR applies, we process personal data in accordance with the following legal bases in connection with Article 6(1) of the GDPR:
(a) Processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.
lit. b) Processing of personal data to fulfill a contract with the data subject and to carry out corresponding pre-contractual measures.
lit. c) Processing of personal data to fulfill a legal obligation to which we are subject under applicable EU law or under the applicable law of a country in which the GDPR is fully or partially applicable.
lit. d) Processing of personal data to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.
lit. f) Processing of personal data to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third parties, unless the fundamental freedoms, rights, and interests of the data subject take precedence. Legitimate interests include, in particular, our business interest in being able to provide our website, information security, the enforcement of our own legal claims, and compliance with Swiss law.
We process personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or purposes. In cases where longer retention periods are required due to legal and other obligations to which we are subject, we restrict processing accordingly.
Cookies
This website uses cookies. These are small text files that make it possible to store specific, user-related information on the user’s device while they are using the website. Cookies enable us, in particular, to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of the pages, to analyze user behavior, and to make our offerings more user-friendly. Cookies remain stored after the end of a browser session and can be retrieved when you visit the site again. If you do not wish this to happen, you should configure your web browser to refuse cookies.
A general objection to the use of cookies for online marketing purposes can be submitted for a wide range of services—especially in the case of tracking—via the U.S. website http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. Furthermore, you can prevent cookies from being stored by disabling them in your browser settings. Please note that, in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website.
SSL/TLS encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar. When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Contact Form
If you submit inquiries to us via the contact form, we will store the information you provide in the inquiry form—including the contact information you provide there—for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.
Opt-out of promotional emails
We hereby object to the use of contact information published in accordance with legal disclosure requirements for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and informational materials. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited transmission of promotional information, such as via spam emails.
Paid Services
To provide paid services, we request additional data, such as payment information, in order to fulfill your order or request. We store this data in our systems until the statutory retention periods have expired.
Order processing in the online store with a customer account
We process our customers’ data in accordance with the federal data protection regulations (Data Protection Act, DSG) and the EU GDPR, within the scope of the ordering process in our online store, to enable you to select and order the chosen products and services, as well as to facilitate their payment and delivery, or fulfillment.
The data processed includes master data (record data), communication data, contract data, and payment data; the individuals affected by this processing include our customers, prospective customers, and other business partners. The processing is carried out for the purpose of providing contractual services in connection with the operation of an online store, billing, delivery, and customer service. In doing so, we use session cookies, e.g., to store the contents of the shopping cart, and persistent cookies, e.g., to store the login status.
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) (execution of order processes) and (c) (legally required archiving) of the GDPR. The information marked as required is necessary for the establishment and performance of the contract. We disclose the data to third parties only in connection with delivery, payment, or as permitted or required by law. The data is processed in third countries only if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract (e.g., at the customer’s request for delivery or payment).
Users can create a user account, which allows them, in particular, to view their orders. During registration, users are informed of the required mandatory information. User accounts are not public and cannot be indexed by search engines, such as Google. Once users have canceled their user accounts, their data associated with the user account will be deleted, unless retention is necessary for commercial or tax law reasons in accordance with Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR. Information in the customer account remains until it is deleted and subsequently archived in the event of a legal obligation. It is the users’ responsibility to back up their data upon termination prior to the end of the contract.
When users register, log in again, or use our online services, we store their IP address and the time of the respective user action. This storage is based on our legitimate interests, as well as the users’ interests in protection against misuse and other unauthorized use. This data is generally not disclosed to third parties, unless it is necessary to pursue our claims or there is a legal obligation to do so pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.
The data is deleted upon the expiration of statutory warranty obligations and comparable obligations; the necessity of retaining the data is reviewed at irregular intervals. In the case of statutory archiving obligations, the data is deleted upon their expiration.
Third-Party Services
This website uses Google Maps for embedding maps, Google Invisible reCAPTCHA for protection against bots and spam, and YouTube for embedding videos.
These services provided by the U.S.-based Google LLC use cookies, among other things, and as a result, data is transferred to Google in the U.S.; however, we assume that no personal tracking takes place solely through the use of our website in this context.
Google has committed to ensuring adequate data protection in accordance with the U.S.-EU and U.S.-Swiss Privacy Shield frameworks.
Further information can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the data controller for this website is located outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Analytics data processing is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited are hereinafter referred to as “Google.”
The statistics we collect allow us to improve our offerings and make them more interesting for you as a user. This website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor traffic, which is conducted via a user ID. If you have a Google account, you can disable cross-device analysis of your usage in the settings there under “My Data” > “Personal Data.”
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics has been extended with the code “_anonymizeIp();” to ensure the anonymous collection of IP addresses. As a result, IP addresses are processed in a truncated form, thereby precluding any possibility of personal identification. To the extent that the data collected about you is personally identifiable, such identification is immediately ruled out, and the personal data is promptly deleted.
Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the U.S., Google has complied with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is typically transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and stored there. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Disable Google Analytics.
You can also prevent the use of Google Analytics by clicking this link: Disable Google Analytics.
This will store a so-called opt-out cookie on your device, which prevents the processing of personal data by Google Analytics. Please note that if you delete all cookies on your device, these opt-out cookies will also be deleted; this means you will need to set the opt-out cookies again if you wish to continue preventing this form of data collection. The opt-out cookies are set per browser and computer/device and must therefore be activated separately for each browser, computer, or other device.
Microsoft Clarity
Our website uses Microsoft Clarity to better understand our users’ experiences and optimize the content on this website. Clarity’s technology helps us gain a better understanding of our users’ experiences—for example, how much time users spend on which pages, how far they scroll, and which links or sections are clicked on particularly often. Based on our users’ feedback, we can tailor our offerings more precisely. Clarity uses cookies and other technologies to collect information about our users’ behavior and their devices, specifically the device’s IP address (which is collected and stored exclusively in anonymized form), screen size, device type, information about the browser used, and location (country only). Clarity stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile for a period of 1 year. Neither Clarity nor we use this information to identify individual users or combine it with other data about individual users. For more information, please see the Microsoft Clarity Privacy Statement.
As the data controller, Microsoft Clarity ensures that this website is secure and GDPR-compliant for visitors. If you’d like to learn more about Microsoft Clarity or how Microsoft may use your data, click this link: https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.
Google Ads
This website uses Google’s online marketing tool Google Ads (“Google Ads”). Google Ads uses cookies to display ads relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Using a cookie ID, Google tracks which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being shown multiple times. In addition, Google Ads can use cookie IDs to track so-called conversions related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a Google Ads ad and later visits the advertiser’s website using the same browser and makes a purchase there. According to Google, Google Ads cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google’s server. Through the integration of Google Ads, Google receives information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible that Google may obtain and store your IP address.
You can opt out of this tracking process in several ways:
By adjusting your browser settings accordingly—in particular, by blocking third-party cookies—you will no longer receive ads from third-party providers.
You can disable cookies for conversion tracking by configuring your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com” (https://adssettings.google.com), although this setting will be deleted when you clear your cookies.
By disabling interest-based ads from providers participating in the “About Ads” self-regulatory campaign via the link https://www.aboutads.info/choices; note that this setting will be deleted if you clear your cookies.
by permanently disabling cookies in your Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome browsers via the link https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all features of this website.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is a balancing of interests, according to which there are no overriding interests on your part that would preclude the processing of your personal data as described above (Art. 6(1), sentence 1, lit. f GDPR). For more information about Google Ads from Google, visit https://ads.google.com/intl/de_DE/home/, and for general information about Google’s privacy practices, visit https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at https://www.networkadvertising.org.
Google Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing feature provided by Google Inc. This feature is used to display interest-based ads to website visitors within the Google advertising network. A so-called “cookie” is stored in the website visitor’s browser, which makes it possible to recognize the visitor when they access websites that are part of Google’s advertising network. On these sites, the visitor may be shown ads related to content the visitor has previously viewed on websites that use Google’s remarketing feature.
According to Google, no personal data is collected during this process. However, if you do not wish to use Google’s remarketing feature, you can generally disable it by adjusting the relevant settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
Google Web Fonts
This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to ensure consistent font display. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display text and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
For more information on Google Web Fonts, visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and see Google’s Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage so-called website tags via a user interface and thus integrate, for example, Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offering. The Tag Manager itself, which implements the tags, does not process any personal data of users. With regard to the processing of users’ personal data, please refer to the following information regarding Google services.
Usage guidelines: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.

We delete these notifications as soon as the request has been resolved and there are no legal retention requirements preventing us from doing so.
